Benefits of using apple cider vinegar on your skin
Millions of Americans suffer from a wide variety of skin conditions. A lot of them appear as rashes or eczema and when they don't heal, they can leave people incredibly frustrated! And even more so if you can't hide the skin under your clothing.
When the affected areas itch, most people struggle not to scratch, sometimes until the skin bleeds. Unfortunately, this can result in nasty scarring, not to mention exposing you to further infection.
But there is a natural remedy that can reduce symptoms or even completely eliminate them: apple cider vinegar can do wonders to alleviate the itchy feeling and any resulting inflammation.
How does it work?
Regardless of how many different forms of skin rashes there are, the symptoms are often similar: dry skin, dead skin build-up, red spots, and extreme itchiness.
Apple cider vinegar possesses very powerful antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. Vinegar protects the affected areas of the skin and prevents the problem from worsening. At the same time, its anti-inflammatory qualities mollify itchy skin.
Apple cider vinegar also helps cleanse the body, removing toxins from the skin and reducing irritations that could cause outbreaks. The vinegar can be used as a preventive treatment to keep outbreaks from reoccurring. Finally, you'll be able to relax a bit.
Here's how to use it:
Before you start, here's a tip: do a quick patch test to see how your skin reacts to apple cider vinegar. If you're more on the sensitive side, dilute it well with water beforehand.
Now mix the vinegar with water in equal parts. If that's still too strong, try four parts water to one part vinegar.

Repeat this treatment twice a day, and your dry, itchy skin should start to clear up.
Another method is to add ½ a cup of apple cider vinegar and ⅓ cup of sunflower oil to warm (note: not hot!) bath water and to bathe in it for half an hour. Try this method three times a week.
You'll soon feel a noticeable improvement. This fantastic solution will help end itchy skin and diminish unpleasant dead skin or scabs — all without the use of aggressive chemicals.
Of course, if your skin problems persist, see a doctor to make sure it's nothing more serious.
