Cough relief: Honey wrap instead of lozenges, tea and cough syrup

Unfortunately, colder weather leaves us more susceptible to colds and many of us will probably suffer from a nasty cough sometime this winter. We usually resort to sucking on countless lozenges in the hope that we can finally shake that irritating itch in the throat. Instead of wasting time with lozenges, tea, and cough syrup, we recommend a more effective way for combatting a bad cough: it's called the Honey Wrap...

You'll need:

  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1 tsp organic honey
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 napkin
  • surgical tape

Here's how:

Mix the flour, honey, and coconut oil in a small bowl.

Spread the paste on a napkin.

Place the honey wrap on your chest and fix it in place using the surgical tape.

Adults can wear the compress overnight, while children can take it off after two to three hours. It's recommended to use the compress several times a week until the symptoms have disappeared.

The honey wrap is a natural way to ease a nasty cough and is super easy to make. We hope you start feeling better soon!
