3. Remove the saucepan from the heat, let it cool, and then drizzle the sticky mixture in small blobs on a sheet of parchment paper.

4. Once the blobs have hardened and cooled, sprinkle powdered sugar on top and store the homemade cough drops in a bowl or container.
